Women redefining philanthropy: Insights for planned & major giving
Women are transforming the world of philanthropy, and their impact is only expected to grow. Studies show that women are more generous than men and are more likely to give their time and money to nonprofit organizations.
By 2030, American women are projected to inherit much of the estimated $30 to $70 trillion to be passed down through the Great Wealth Transfer and hold more than two-thirds of the wealth in the US. By understanding and responding to women donors' unique motivations and priorities, nonprofits can create more effective fundraising strategies to better target this demographic.
Watch Patrick Schmitt, co-CEO of FreeWill, discuss the growing presence of women in philanthropy and tips you can use to engage them in your major and planned giving efforts.
